Virchow is a pioneering company and is experienced with ‘concept marketing’. A good example of this was the launch of NPWT (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy) A4 Machine from Genadyne in India. Virchow has been instrumental in raising awareness and creation of the concept in all key regions with the help of Wound Care Forums (WCFs), large scale CMEs and Hospital meets. The brand has steadily grown in spite of newly launched rival products from KCL, Smith & Nephew, Huntleigh and Medela. Due to first mover advantage, strong marketing and good geographical coverage, SAP therapy still is the market leader in this segment
